Local and international maritime community sets for business at maritime show in Hồ Chí Minh city

Hồ Chí Minh City, 9 March 2011 -  the Maritime Vietnam 2011 (MV 2011) has been officially opened at Tân Bình Exhibition and Convention Center (TBECC). Attending the opening ceremony are Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Trường, Vice Minister of Transportation, Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, representatives of 350 companies from all over the world and press and media.   90% participation of MV 2011 from international companies is a reflection of the industry’s confidence in the growth of Vietnam’s maritime sector. The active participation from local companies also indicates the Vietnam’s determination to further development in maritime industry.   A new feature of MV 2011 is the VIP Buyer Programme. There have already been 90 VIP Buyers from Việt Nam, Norway, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Malaysia.   It’s expected to have 5,000 visitors from 28 countries to visit the show in the next three days.           Vietnam Shipper
