U.S. Lines to Adjust Pacific Express 3 Service

U.S. Lines will adjust its Pacific Express 3 service, effective March 12.

The shipping company will add Ningbo to the rotation in China, prior to Shanghai; drop Xiamen as a direct call in China, which will be serviced via Hong Kong or Pusan for all U.S. East Coast destinations; and add Charleston, S.C., as the final U.S. call before returning to Asia.

The new rotation will be effective with CC Florida PG815E with an estimated time of arrival in Hong Kong on March 12, and for imports, PG816W with an ETA in Charleston on April 19.

U.S. Lines will also increase rates for shipments to the U.S. West Coast, East Coast and Gulf, effective April 1.

From Asia to the U.S. West Coast and Canada west coast, the increase will be $320 per 20-foot container, open top and flat rack; $400 per 40-foot container, open top and flat rack; $450 per 40-foot high-cube container; and $506 per 45-foot high-cube container.

From Asia to U.S. interior point intermodal points via the U.S. West Coast and Canada west coast, as well as from Asia to U.S. East Coast ports and IPI points via the U.S. East Coast and Gulf, the hike will be $480 per 20-foot container, open top and flat rack; $600 per 40-foot container, open top and flat rack; $675 per 40-foot high-cube container; and $760 per 45-foot high-cube container.
