United Arab Shipping Co. Plans Asia-North Europe Rate Hike

United Arab Shipping Co. will boost rates for dry and refrigerated cargo on its trade from Asia to North Europe, effective July 1. The increase will be $910 per 20-foot-equivalent unit, the container line said. Maersk Line, Mediterranean Shipping Co., Hapag-Lloyd and OOCL have also planned Asia-to-North Europe rate hikes for July 1, despite recent declining rates in the trade lane. The Journal of Commerce
