According to the newspaper Trinidad & Tobago Express, customs and coast guard officers in Port of Spain on Friday found four metal containers filled with marijuana attached to the hull of The containership CFS Pamplona. Officials said the load had a street value of more than $1 million.
Six months earlier, the Express reported that the CFS Pamplona was caught in Jamaica transporting illegal drugs using the same method.
The Express said the vessel, built in 2004, is registered in St. John's Antiqua and owned and operated by Harren&Partner Ship Management GmbH & Co. KG.
