A year after being acquired by Santos Brasil, port container terminal operator Mesquita Soluções Logísticas has plans to expand its operations in Brazil, NoticiasFinancieras reported.
Santos Brasil director Mauro Salgado said that the company already has structured a project to expand its services to the ports of Vila do Conce, in Pará state, and Imbituba, in Santa Catarina.
Santos Brasil bought Mesquita in November 2007 for US$44 million, and since then it has begun to outline a strategic plan for the new company.
