China Deputy Minster Wang Qishan and Singapore Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng met in Beijing to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries and announced that the China-Singapore free trade zone agreement will hopefully be signed this month, Logistics Week reported.
The report said governments of both countries still need to review the terms of the agreements before signing the deal.
Establishment of the China-Singapore free trade zone will deepen the level of the two countries' trade cooperation and bring their economic ties into a new era of development, while having a possible impact on the economic integration in the East Asia region.
Experts said China and Singapore have many complementary advantages for each other in capital, management, human resources and information, which will lead their cooperation to a bright and vast prospect.
