Maersk Line has announced enhancements and adjustments to its Asia - Europe network.
The adjustments include improved port coverage, faster transit times and new direct services.
• Improved direct North and East China coverage to Turkey and the Black Sea, including one of the fastest transit times in the market from Busan (KR) to Evyap (TR)
• Shanghai to Hamburg and Bremerhaven in just 24 and 22 days respectively - amongst the fastest in the market
• New direct service from Korea and North China to Hamburg
• New direct services from Le Havre to Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Japan
AE1 service
• Maersk will add Salalah (Oman) and remove the Singapore call. This change introduces an eastbound service between Hamburg and Salalah.
• Eastbound port rotation: Le Havre > Rotterdam > Southampton > Hamburg > Bremerhaven > Salalah > Nansha > Da Chan Bay > Ningbo > Shanghai > Kaohsiung > Yantian > Hong Kong
• First AE1 vessel eastbound: Maersk Semarang, March 4th, Bremerhaven
AE2 service
• Maersk will add calls at Hamburg and Tanjung Pelepas
• Shanghai to Hamburg and Bremerhaven in just 24 and /22 days respectively - amongst the fastest in the market
• New direct service from Korea and North China to Hamburg
• Improved Oceania coverage via Tanjung Pelepas connecting to our Boomerang service

• Maersk will add Evyap to enhance its Turkey & Black Sea coverage, improve direct North and East China coverage to Turkey and provide one of the fastest transit times in the market from Busan to Evyap
• New port rotation: Xingang > Dalian > Qingdao > Busan > Ningbo > Yantian > Tanjung Pelepas > Aqaba > Port Said > Evyap > Ambarli > Constanta > Illyichevsk > Port Said > Singapore
• First AE3 vessel westbound, Maersk Drammen, February 18th, Xingang
AE6 service
• Maersk will reroute the AE6 eastbound from Europe via the Cape of Good Hope to Asia
• Port rotation: Yokohama > Nagoya > Shanghai > Ningbo > Hong Kong > Yantian > Tanjung Pelepas > Port Said > Barcelona > Valencia > Algeciras > Tangier > Tanjung Pelepas > Yantian > Hong Kong
• First AE6 vessel: Margrethe Maersk, March 6th, Barcelona

• Maersk will add Le Havre on the eastbound rotation, creating direct services from Le Havre to Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Japan with competitive transit times
