The 11 member shipping lines of the Canada Transpacific Stabilization Agreement said they are raising bunker surcharges 24 percent to 27 percent from current levels, beginning July 1.
• For East Coast ports, the fuel recovery charge will be $308 per TEU, $385 per FEU, $433 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $487 per 45-foot container.
• For West Coast ports, the charge will be $150 per TEU, $188 per FEU, $212 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $238 per 45-foot container.
CTSA said its currency adjustment factor would remain at 0 percent through June.
CTSA member lines are APL, COSCO Container Lines, Evergreen, Hanjin Shipping, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, “K” Line, NYK Line, OOCL, Yang Ming and Zim Integrated Shipping Services.
