Ocean carrier ZIM will use Da Chan Bay Terminal One in Shenzhen, China for services covering the Asia-U.S. East Coast/Caribbean trade lane (ZCS) and the Asia-East Med/ Black Sea trade lane (EMX) starting early August.
The first ZCS call will be ZIM Haifa on Aug. 3. The first EMX inbound call will be ZIM Dalian on Aug. 20; the first EMX outbound call will be Pearl River on Aug. 23.
“We are delighted to see more carriers are ready to leverage the strategic location of Da Chan Bay Terminal One to serve the South China market. The ZIM services will open up two new trade lanes for Da Chan Bay Terminal One and we look forward to providing ZIM and their customers a great experience at our world-class facilities,” said the terminal’s CEO Andrew Milliken.
