Singapore Box Volumes Down Last Month But Drop Lessening

Container throughput at the port of Singapore was 2.15m TEU in September, down 16 per cent on the same month last year. However, the rate at which box traffic has fallen this year has slowed somewhat. In the year to date, the port handled 18.4m TEU, down 17 per cent on 2008's figures.
