MASkargo wants bigger planes

10/22/2009 9:41:27 AM

Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo) says when the lease of its four narrow-body freighters expires it will want to replace them with larger equipment.

Managing director Shahari Sulaiman said he was considering wide-body freighters such as the Boeing 747-400 and the Airbus 330.

Currently, MASkargo has four 747-200 freighters (747-200Fs) provided by Air Atlanta Icelandic, on a lease that expires mid Q2 next year. It also owns two 747-400Fs.
