Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways will increase the number of flights to Jeddah from four times a week to daily from 28 March in response to market demand.
The airline launched its service to Saudi Arabia's second major commercial city last October. With the additional flights, it will operate a total of 14 flights a week to the Kingdom, including a daily service to the country's capital, Riyadh. In addition, the carrier says it is responding to high demand to Sapporo in Japan during the summer holiday season by increasing the frequency from four flights a week to daily in July and August.
