Chilean carrier CSAV has launched a weekly North China-U.S. East Coast service that will operate via the Panama Canal.
The new America Express service will use 10 ships with 2,700 20-foot equivalent units capacity on a route that CSAV said will improve transshipment times to Central America, the Caribbean and U.S. Gulf ports.
The service rotation will be Ningbo, Shanghai, Qingdao, Xingang, Busan, Kingston, Port Everglades, New York-New Jersey, Charleston, Caucedo, Cartagena, Ningbo. The first sailing will be from Ningbo on May 16.
