OOCL said it will extend and upgrade its intra-Asia KTX3 service as of June 27 with new calls at Singapore, Jakarta and Port Kelang, and increased frequency to and from Jakarta.
With the extended service, OOCL will provide direct service from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shekou to Jakarta and Port Kelang to Japan ports.
The revised port rotation will be as follows: Osaka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Yokkaichi, Kobe, Keelung, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Jakarta, Port Kelang, Singapore, Shekou, Hong Kong and back to Osaka on a 28-day round trip.
Four 2,200-TEU vessels will be deployed on the new service, upgraded from two vessels of 2,200 TEUs.
OOCL said it is enhancing the service in response to increasing customer demand in the region.
