CMA CGM is switching partners and upgrading the vessel size on its Victory Bridge service linking North Europe to the U.S. South Atlantic, Mexico and the U.S. Gulf.
It is teaming up with CSAV on the new service in place of Mediterranean Shipping Co., which is due to start in October.
The new vessel-sharing agreement with CSAV will deploy five vessels of 3,000 20-foot equivalent container units, of which CMA CGM will provide three and CSAV two.
The new service will have the following rotation: Le Havre, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Charleston, Miami, Vera Cruz, Altamira, Houston, Miami and back to Le Havre.
CMA CGM said it will continue to serve the ports of Savannah and Felixstowe, which it called on the previous rotation, through its Round the World and Liberty Bridge services.
