"K" Line's (Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd) container vessel "Seattle Bridge" (VOY NO.001w) visited Ashdod last week on its maiden voyage from the Far East to Europe. Mano Maritime Ltd. general agent in Israel for “K” Line Japan, noted in a press release that the new 294 meters long, D.W.T 72,890 vessel, built in Japan and delivered to "K" Line on 27th May 2010, has container capacity of TEU 6,350, service speed of 24.9NM and state of the art vessel technology. The vessel was on its way to Europe's west Med ports; Genoa, Livorno and Fos and will return to Israel every 60 days.
