The Containership Company (TCC) plans to launch two additional services next year after starting its inaugural liner service in April.
Chief Operating Officer Franck Kayser said TTC’s Great Dragon service between the US West Coast and the Chinese ports of Qingdao, Ningbo and Taicang had seen utilisation levels of 80% so far.
He said TCC was now examining a new transpacific link between the US West Coast and South China as well as analysing options on other trade lanes.
“We also have projects ongoing for intra-Asia and Asia-Europe,” he added. “Our idea is that next year we’ll have three services.”
