Hanjin Shipping and two partner lines are increasing capacity on a service they operate connecting the Far East and Middle East, according to ComPair Data.
The six-ship FMX service, in which Hanjin provides four vessels and STX Pan Ocean and Sinokor provide one each, has a rotation of Qingdao, Gwangyang, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Yantian, Singapore, Dubai, Khor Fakkan, Bandar Abbas, Karachi, Port Kelang, Singapore and Qingdao.
According to ComPair Data, four of the six vessels will be changed in December, increasing the average weekly capacity on the service by 21 percent, from 4,039 TEUs to 4,866 TEUs.
