SeaFreight Line will launch a weekly fixed-day service to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in December.
The Miami-based carrier said the new service will commence from Jacksonville on Monday, Dec. 6 and from Port Everglades at 1:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8.
The first northbound sailing from Puerto Limon in Costa Rica will be Tuesday Dec. 14.
SeaFreight said the six-day transit will be the fastest all- water service between Puerto Limon and Jacksonville.
The carrier also said the new service will provide the fastest transit times from Puerto Limon to 16 ports in the Caribbean area via its hub in Kingston.
SeaFreight currently operates services between Florida, the Caribbean, the north coast of South America and Central America with six vessels of capacities of 1,100 20-foot container units and two of 500 TEUs.
