COSCO Container Lines said it will adjust the terminal handling charges it assesses on shipments between China and Europe, and also between the Far East and Israel, as of January.
Between China and Europe, the THCs will be $87 per 20-foot container and $135 per 40-foot container for all Chinese ports (though the THC will only apply to import shipments at ports in the Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and Hainan provinces).
Between Taiwanese ports and Europe, the THC will be $187 per 20-foot container and $235 per 40-foot container. These THCs come into effect Jan. 10.
Meanwhile, COSCO’s THCs for all shipments between the Far East and Israel are $175 per 20-foot container, $255 per 40-foot container, $220 per 20-foot reefer container and $315 per 40-foot reefer container. These THCs come into effect Jan. 1.
