Maersk changes Asia/West Africa service calls

Maersk Line and subsidiary Safmarine have amended the rotation of their Asia/West Africa FEW3 loop, according to ComPair Data.

The carriers have dropped a call at Shanghai and added calls at Fuzhou and Ningbo. The new rotation is Fuzhou, Ningbo, Yantian, Nansha, Tanjung Pelepas, Lagos (Tin Can Island), Onne, Douala, Tanjung Pelepas, Nansha and Fuzhou.

The service is operated with 11 vessels (all provided by Maersk) with an average capacity of 2,393 TEUs. Maersk covers Shanghai on the Asia/West Africa trade through its FEW1 loop, which calls at Togo and Benin.
