The inaugural flight of Lufthansa Cargo's new Shenzhen-Frankfurt service arrived at the International Cargo Centre Shenzhen (ICCS) this week. The MD-11 freighter stopped at Riyadh in Saudi Arabia before flying on to Shenzhen where it was filled in three-and-a-half hours and flew back to Frankfurt via Delhi in India.
LH Cargo will operate the service three times a week. Jade Cargo International will continue to operate its twice-weekly Shenzhen-Frankfurt service with Boeing 747 freighters.
ICCS is an air cargo joint venture ShenzhenAirport and Lufthansa Cargo.
