Turkish Cargo has begun a new scheduled weekly A310 freighter service between Istanbul and Budapest.
With a capacity of around 40 tonnes in each direction, the new freighter service will complement the bellyhold cargo capacity of the airline's passenger flights between the two cities, which has just increased from a daily service to ten flights per week.
The airline says that the new non-stop wide-body cargo service between Istanbul and Budapest is being treated as a test. Should the business develop as expected, the freighter service frequency will be increased.
