Non-vessel-operating common carrier Vanguard Logistics has launched three new direct less-than-container load ocean services from Dalian, Shenzhen & Tokyo/Yokohama to Chicago.
"Direct service is the freight forwarder's preference as it provides faster transit times, less damages and fewer delays. This will create a huge advantage for them," said Richard Haddock, import business development manager, USA.
The neutral NVO currently offers more than 210 direct import services into the United States, 76 of which are direct from Asia.
