MOL Logistics (Japan) expanded its network in a dozen Africa countries by signing a contract with an undisclosed freight forwarder.
Mitsui O.S.K. Line’s logistics arm said its Dubai-based partner has offices Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Zambia, Mozambique, Togo, Ghana and Nigeria.
MOL Logistics “expects Africa to grow as an emerging market following the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India, China) markets,” the Tokyo-based company said in a statement. “MOL Logistics works continually to meet various logistics needs related to Africa by offering contract logistics in the Middle East, with Dubai as a gateway, as well as inbound and outbound sea and air services."
