On December 21st, 2011, AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines will commence scheduled flights between Kyiv and Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam’s largest city. The flights to Ho Chi Minh city will be performed twice a week – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The schedule envisages inbound flights back to Kyiv on Mondays and Fridays. Duration of flight between the two cities will be about 11 hours. Wide-body Boeing 767 aircraft will be operated on the line.
The new route will be available to passengers arriving in Kyiv with AeroSvit’s flights from Ukraine’s largest cities as well as from Stockholm, Copenhagen, Prague, Warsaw, London, Vilnius, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Baku, Dubai, Tel Aviv, Athens and other cities of the Ukrainian Airlines’ route network.
Besides that, passengers, arriving in Ho Chi Minh from Kyiv, will be able to continue their flight to about 20 destinations in Vietnam as well as other countries of Southeast and Eastern Asia, Australia, in particular Hanoi, Tokyo, Osaka, Sydney, Melbourne, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Vientiane.
Carriages via Ho Chi Minh city to the largest cities of the Asia-Pacific region will be provided by AeroSvit jointly with Vietnam Airlines, its code-sharing partner in operation of Kyiv-Ho Chi Minh line.
