The CKYH alliance of liner shipping carriers has dropped the Jeddah call on its weekly NE2 Asia-North Europe service.
The last voyage to call Jeddah was the Dec. 13 sailing of YM Uniform. The NE2’s new port rotation is Shanghai, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Yantian, Singapore, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Singapore, Shekou, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
The voyage length remains 70 days round, and operates with 10 vessels averaging 8,168 TEUs. Both the CKYH's NE4 and NE5 loops have stopped sailing until further notice, and the remaining NE1, NE3 and NE6 Asia to North Europe loops make no stops in the Middle East.
