KLM Asia launches Taipei-Amsterdam flights

KLM Asia, the Taiwan-registered subsidiary of Netherlands-based KLM has launched daily direct non-stop flights between Taipei and Amsterdam, becoming the first European airline to offer nonstop flights between Taiwan and Europe.   In the past, passengers had to make a stopover in Bangkok.   The new schedule also means the end of direct flights between Amsterdam and Manila, with flights between the two destinations now via Taipei.     Aircargo Asia Pacific
