"K" LINE is to upgrade its intra-Asia service (JASECO) with improved transit times and better coverage between Japan and Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong, the company announced.
It will deploy four vessels of 2,600 TEU on both its JASECO-4 AND JASECO-5 south bound effective March 27. Northbound service on JASECO-4 will start on April 12 and on the JASECO-5, on April 11.
The updated JASECO-4 will have a port rotation of Tokyo, Yokohama, Shizu, Yokkaichi, Nagoya, Kobe, Manila, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jakarta, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Tokyo.
The updated JASECO-5 will have a port rotation of Osaka, Nagoya, Shimizu, Tokyo, Yokohama, Singapore, Jakarta, Singapore, Manila and back to Osaka.
