CARRIER members of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) have announced an adjustment in bunker charges for shipments from Japan, Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan to ports in Australia from March 23.
The bunker charges will be adjusted to US$600 per TEU and $1,200 per FEU for dry and refrigerated containers.
AADA is a voluntary discussion forum of 13 ocean carriers serving the trade from north and east Asia to destinations in Australia. Members include ANL Singapore, China Shipping Container Line (HK), Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL Line, NYK and OOCL.
