ASIA Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) carriers have announced a two-tier rate increase of US$100 per TEU on July 1 and $200 per TEU on July 15 for cargo shipments from China and Hong Kong to all ports and points in Australia.
For both dry and refrigerated cargo, the rate will be up $100 per TEU, $200 per FEU on July 1 rate increase, and $200 per TEU and $400 per FEU on July 15 increase.
The AADA is a voluntary discussion forum of 13 ocean carriers serving the trade from North and East Asia to destinations in Australia. AADA members include: ANL, CSCL, Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM), "K" Line, Maersk, MSC, MOL, NYK and OOCL.
