MEMBER lines of the Asia Australia Discussion Agreement (AADA) have lowered their bunker surcharge to US$575 per TEU and $1,150 per FEU for dry and refrigerated containers from Japan, Korea and Greater China to Australian ports effective June 1.
This reflects the recent decrease in the price of oil at Hong Kong and South Korea, said the AADA statement.
AADA members applying the new bunker surcharge level are ANL Singapore, China Shipping (HK), Cosco, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Hapag-Lloyd, "K Line", MSC, MOL, NYK Line and OOCL.
