JAPAN's MOL, the world's 10th largest carrier, has announced it will unveil a new MZX Mozambique Express service on June 7 departing Singapore.
The MZX loop will start as a weekly service offered by Singapore's PIL with seven ships. Under the new partnership agreement with PIL, MOL will gain some space of this revamped loop by swap with some spaces on the new IOX service that has been announced separately.
The new MZX enables MOL to expand its service network for Mozambique and Indian Ocean Islands ports, with new direct calls at Reunion, Beira and Nacala. Rotation of the new MZX includes Singapore, Maputo, Beira, Nacala and back to Singapore.
