Deutsche Afrika-Linien is joining the fortnightly Africa-Indian subcontinent service of affiliated carrier United Africa Feeder Lines.
UAFL’s recently launched IMMA service, operated jointly with Evergreen Line, connects Mauritius, Madagascar, South Africa and Mozambique with India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka on a fortnightly basis. Three 2,500-TEU vessels are deployed, with the following port rotation: Karachi, Mundra, Colombo, Port Louis, Tamatave, Durban, Maputo, Nacala and Karachi.
DAL said that both dry and reefer containers can be accommodated on the service.
