Pacific International Lines will soon revise its CTP service to provide a direct connection between Manila, the Philippines, and Los Angeles.
The Kota Wangi, voyage 982, will be the first ship to sail in the Manila (North Harbor) to Long Beach service, leaving Manila on June 20 with a scheduled transit time to Los Angeles of 23 days.
The ocean carrier said the new Manila call is chiefly intended to serve the eastbound trade. PIL is willing to accommodate U.S. exports to the Philippines, although the transit time westbound is nearly double, at approximately 45 days.
