Members of the G6 Alliance have canceled two voyages scheduled for early October, as a result of vessel maintenance and a national holiday week in China.
The void sailings will be made on the eastbound EUM service, connecting Asia and the Mediterranean, in week 41, with an estimated time of departure from Busan, South Korea, on Oct. 7, as well as the westbound Loop 7 service, linking Asia and Europe, in week 41, with an ETD from Qingdao, China, on Oct. 9. The alliance also recently announced other modifications to its Asia-to-Europe coverage.
The port rotation for the EUM service includes calls at Busan; Shanghai; Ningbo and Shekou, China; Hong Kong; and Singapore. The rotation for Loop 7 includes calls at Qingdao; Shanghai; Hong Kong; Yantian, China; Singapore; Salalah, Oman; Rotterdam, the Netherlands; Hamburg, Germany; and Southampton, England.
The G6 Alliance implemented a winter program around the same time last year in its trade between Asia and Europe. Members of the G6 Alliance include APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, MOL, NYK Line and OOCL.
