Deutsche Post DHL expands European hub

Deutsche Post DHL announced the expansion of its European hub at Leipzig/Halle Airport in Germany. “We warmly welcome this decision by Deutsche Post DHL. It paves the way for the future and is a further milestone in the development of our airport,” Markus Kopp, CEO at Mitteldeutsche Airport Holding, said. “The expansion of the DHL hub and the associated investments underline the outstanding importance of Leipzig/Halle Airport, which plays a crucial role in DHL’s global network. This step will continue the long-term development of the airport and create space for growth and employment.” Leipzig/Halle Airport is Germany’s second-largest airfreight hub. Aircargo World
