Knight Transportation has opened new brokerage service centres in Indianapolis (Indiana) and Carlisle (Pennsylvania). The company now has 39 service centres in its nationwide transportation network.
In March this year, the company opened a new brokerage service centre in Columbus (Ohio), and another one in Dallas (Texas) in May.
Earlier this year, Knight Transportation opened new dry van truckload service centres in Richmond (Virginia) and Columbus (Ohio).
The company now has 26 dry van service centres, four refrigerated service centres and nine brokerage service centres in its network.
Knight recently released its financial results for the quarter and year-to-date ended June 30, 2007, posing record revenue and net income for the quarter.
According to company chairman & CEO Kevin Knight, the company intends to continue opening service centres, expanding its fleet and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
