OOCL has announced a change to the Southern China calling port for the ACE service, and CMA CGM has launched a weekly service linking Gdansk/Gdynia with Hamburg and Klaipeda.
To improve schedule integrity of the ACE service and to upgrade terminal efficiencies, OOCL has changed the port of call in Shenzhen from Chiwan to Shekou, effective September 16th.
The two ports are located in close proximity to each other and there should be a smooth change over.
CMA CGM and Team Lines are offering fixed-day weekly calls at Poland’s newest deepwater container terminal, DCT Gdansk.
CMA CGM will call at Gdansk on Monday/Tuesday with the 1,400 TEU vessel Cape Fulmar, linking Gdansk/Gdynia with Hamburg and Klaipeda on the carrier’s FAS Baltic Poland Service.
Team Lines will commence a weekly call at DCT Gdansk with the 508 TEU vessel Maris, providing a regular link to the German ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven.
DCT Gdansk is also in discussions with other carriers to initiate regular weekly calls.
