JET AIRWAYS WILL LAUNCH ITS DAILY DIRECT FLIGHTS TO MUSCAT & DOHA, EFFECTIVE JANUARY 23, 2008

Jet Airways, India’s premier airline will launch its daily direct flights to Muscat and Doha from Kozhikode (Calicut) from Wednesday, January 23, 2008.   Jet Airways will also simultaneously launch flights from Kochi to Muscat and Mumbai to Doha on Wednesday, January 23, 2008.   Jet Airways is already operating daily direct flights on the Kochi-Kuwait-Kochi, Kochi-Bahrain-Kochi, Mumbai-Bahrain-Mumbai and Delhi-Kuwait-Delhi sectors.   With the introduction of these new flights Kozhikode will be the second city in Kerala to be connected by Jet Airways’ international services to the Middle East.   Jet Airways’ flight 9W 538 (Kozhikode -Muscat) will depart Kozhikode at 0930 hrs and arrive Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 1135 hrs. Flight 9W 537 (Muscat- Kozhikode) will depart Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 0230 hrs and arrive Kozhikode at 0800 hrs.   Jet Airways’ flight 9W 554 (Kozhikode -Doha) will depart Kozhikode at 2000 hrs and arrive Doha International Airport at 2200 hrs. Flight 9W 553 (Doha- Kozhikode) will depart Doha International Airport at 1000 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode 1655 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9W 553 will depart Doha International Airport at 1100 hrs and arrive at Kozhikode at 1755 hrs.   Launching flights to Muscat from Kochi on January 23, 2008, Jet Airways’ flight 9W 534 (Kochi-Muscat) will depart Kochi at 2250 hrs and arrive Muscat’s Seeb International at 0100 hrs. On the return leg, flight 9W 533 (Muscat-Kochi) will depart Muscat’s Seeb International Airport at 1305 hrs and arrive Kochi International Airport at 1750 hrs.   Launching simultaneous operations to Doha from Mumbai, Jet Airways’ flight 9W 552 (Mumbai-Doha) will depart from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0720 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0825 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, flight 9W 552 will depart Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0840 hrs and arrive at Doha International Airport at 0945 hrs. The return flight 9W 551 (Doha-Mumbai) will depart Doha International Airport at 2315 hrs and arrive at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 0515 hrs.   Air Transport News
