Menzies Aviation has launched operations in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and George.
Menzies’ launch customers in South Africa will be: Air Botswana, Air Madagascar, Air Seychelles, British Airways, Cargolux, Cathay Pacific, DHL, Egyptair, El Al, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Imperial Air Cargo, Kenya Airways, LAM Mozambique, Lufthansa Cargo, Malaysia Airlines, Nationwide International, Qantas, Qatar Airways, SA Express, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Swazi Air Express, TAP Air Portugal, Thai Airways.
This follows the awarding of licences for Menzies to provide passenger and ramp handing services at all the major airports in South Africa, and the company’s acquisition of the warehouse handling and trucking business of Airline Cargo Resources South Africa in January this year, which complements Menzies’ ground handling operations.
