Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, today launched its service to Hong Kong from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, becoming the first private Indian carrier to fly to that city.
Jet Airways’ maiden flight 9W 42 (Mumbai-Hong Kong) departed Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on-time at 0100 hrs, and will arrive at Hong Kong International Airport at 0915 hrs. The return flight, 9W 41 (Hong-Kong-Mumbai) will depart Hong Kong International Airport at 1905 hrs and arrive at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai at 2310 hrs.
The airline has deployed its state-of-the-art Airbus 330-200 aircraft with a two-class configuration, Première and Economy, on the Mumbai-Hong Kong-Mumbai sectors.
Jet Airways’ flight timings on this route have been carefully planned to offer optimum convenience to the business traveler with an early morning arrival into Hong Kong and return to Mumbai/India by end of day.
With this launch, Hong Kong becomes the 16th international destination on Jet Airways’ rapidly expanding international route map.
