Japan's "K" Line will in early May join Taiwanese carrier Wan Hai Lines' weekly Japan-China-Vietnam (JCV) service as a vessel provider.
Effective May 8, "K" Line will replace one of Wan Hai's vessels so that the service uses three ships of about 770 TEUs. The rotation will also be altered with the dropping of southbound calls at Shekou and the addition of Huangpu southbound. The revised itinerary is Tokyo, Yokohama, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Huangpu, Da Nang, Hochiminh City (Cat Lai and VICT), Hong Kong, Shekou and back to Tokyo.
