Evergreen to start Adriatic, Balkan feeder

Evergreen Line said it will start a regional service connecting central Adriatic and Balkan ports.   The Taiwanese carrier said the Adriatic Feeder service (AFS) will "significantly improve the existing intra-Mediterranean feeder network based on a hub in Taranto, Italy."   The 974-TEU Iris Bolten will kick-start the service from Taranto on June 13.   The seven-day round voyage loop will call Taranto and Ancona in Italy; Ploce, Croatia; Bar, Montenegro; Durres, Albania; and Taranto.   American Shipper
