Building materials group Grafton has launched a massive warehouse facility in Shanghai as part of a co-operation agreement with supply chain group PCH, the Irish Times reported.
The partnership between the two Irish companies is an attempt to streamline product supply from China to core markets in the West.
Grafton stated that the warehouse has been designed to enable timely delivery in a streamlined fashion to their markets in Ireland and Britain.
The new facility will allow Grafton to move its supplies into a central warehousing facility, and then divide the goods into large pallets before being shipped to specific markets in a speedy and efficient manner.
