Alaska Airlines plans to begin daily non-stop service between Seattle and Houston on Sept. 23, and between Seattle and Atlanta on Oct. 23.
“Houston and Atlanta are two of the largest markets that we don’t currently serve non-stop from Seattle,” the airline said. “With their strong business ties to the state of Alaska and Pacific Northwest, these cities will be great additions to our core route network. Our new nonstop to Houston offers a convenient link to the state of Alaska for our oil and gas customers including direct service from Houston to Anchorage and the only single-carrier service from Houston to the oil fields of Prudhoe Bay.”
