Spirit Airlines Starts Service Between Fort Lauderdale And Santiago, Dominican Republic

This week, ultra low cost carrier Spirit Airlines started new non-stop service between its Fort Lauderdale home and Santiago, Dominican Republic. The carrier now offers service to 24 destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.   This route will be operated by Spirit’s Airbus fleet, the youngest in the Americas.   Located in the Dominican Republic’s Central region, home to the country’s most lush fertile lands, the stunning Cordillera Central mountain ranges and the Cibao Valley, the city of Santiago is the country’s second largest metropolis.   Air Transport News
