Turkish closer to Asia

9/9/2009 10:30:10 AM

Turkey’s Turkish Airlines says it wants to double its Asian frequencies by 2012, with flights – or more flights – to Tokyo, Bangkok, Saigon and probably Manila.

It also wants more services to Indonesia and is in talks to set up a code-share agreement with Garuda Indonesia. Elsewhere, it is waiting for approval of an Air Service Agreement between Turkey and the Philippines and in Thailand, it wants a code-share with Thai International.
