Olympic Flame for the XXI Winter Olympics "Vancouver 2010" departed from Athens International Airport

Validated by IOC, the Olympic Flame lit in Olympia, Greece according to the tradition on October 22, 2009. From October 22 - 29, the Torch Relay travelled across Greece, ending at the Panathinaiko Stadium (Kalimarmaro), the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896.   Air Transport News
