Norwegian continues its expansion at Copenhagen Airport. Norwegian is going to launch new routes to the holiday destinations Tenerife, Ibiza, Kos and Athens as well as new domestic routes to Billund, Karup and Rønne.
Norwegian is intensifying its efforts in the Danish market and is opening seven new routes out of Copenhagen Airport; four for international destinations and three for domestic destinations.
Services on the new routes will be launched in the course of 2010 beginning in January. All the flights will be operated by Boeing 737s.
Norwegian set up its base at Copenhagen Airport in late October 2008 and has opened more than 20 routes out of Copenhagen already during 2009. The airline is now the second-largest carrier at Copenhagen Airport. When the new routes have been opened, Norwegian will be serving 33 destinations out of Copenhagen from next year.
International destinations: Dubai, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Nice, Prague, Malaga, Alicante, Mallorca, Faro, Pisa, Split, Crete, Rhodes, Budapest, Krakow, Warsaw, Vienna, Rome, Dublin, Edinburgh, Oslo, Stockholm, Gran Canaria, Cyprus, Kos, Ibiza, Athens and Tenerife.
Domestic destinations: Aalborg, Billund, Karup and Rønne.
